The rules of the road for using snagz.co.uk and buying our gear. We've tried to keep the legalese readable. By using the site or placing an order you agree to all of this.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of snagz.co.uk (the "Site") and any purchase you make through it. The Site is operated by Snagz ("we", "us", "our"), a sole trader based in the United Kingdom.

By accessing or using the Site, registering an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

You can browse the Site at any age, but to place an order you must be at least 16 years old and able to enter a binding contract under UK law.

We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or cancel orders at our discretion — particularly where there's reason to believe the terms have been breached, fraudulent activity is involved, or the order can't be lawfully fulfilled.

You can buy from us as a guest or by registering an account. Accounts are optional but make it easier to track orders, manage addresses, and check past purchases.

You're responsible for keeping your account password secure and for any activity that happens under your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorised access at support@snagz.co.uk.

We've done our best to display product images, colours, and descriptions accurately, but we can't guarantee that your screen will show colours exactly as the gear appears in real life. Sizes are guides — see the size chart on each product page.

All products are subject to availability. We may discontinue any item without notice. Where an item is sold out after you've ordered it (rare but it happens), we'll let you know and refund you in full.

All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and are listed exclusive of shipping charges, which are calculated at checkout based on your destination and chosen service.

We may change prices at any time without notice, but changes won't affect orders we've already accepted. If we discover a pricing error on the Site after you've placed an order, we'll contact you with the correct price and you can either confirm at the corrected price or cancel for a full refund.

When you place an order, you're making an offer to buy. Your order is only accepted once we send you a shipping confirmation email containing tracking information. The order confirmation you receive at checkout is acknowledgement of your offer, not acceptance.

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order before dispatch, for any reason, including but not limited to: stock shortages, suspected fraud, pricing or product errors, or where we believe these Terms have been breached.

Payment is taken in full at the point of order through Shopify Payments and any other payment providers shown at checkout (Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Klarna, etc.). We don't see or store full card numbers — payment data is handled securely by our payment processors.

By providing payment information, you confirm that you're authorised to use the payment method and that there are sufficient funds or available credit to cover the order.

Shipping options, costs, and estimated timescales are set out in our Shipping Policy. Delivery estimates are estimates — once an order is with the courier, delivery times are largely out of our hands. Title to and risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

Our returns and refunds process is set out in full in our Return & Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

If you're ordering from outside the UK, the recipient may be liable for import duties, taxes, and customs fees on arrival. These are charged by your local customs authority and are not within our control — please check with your local customs office for an estimate before ordering.

We're not responsible for delays caused by customs clearance. Refusing to accept delivery to avoid customs charges doesn't entitle you to a refund of original shipping fees.

Discount codes — including codes from our spin-to-win lottery — are subject to the following rules unless stated otherwise:

• One code per order — codes cannot be stacked
• Codes are single-use per customer unless explicitly marked otherwise
• Codes have an expiry date and cannot be used after that date
• Codes cannot be exchanged for cash or applied retrospectively to previous orders
• We reserve the right to cancel codes obtained fraudulently or used in breach of these Terms

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and not to:

• Submit false or misleading information
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Site, related systems, or other users' accounts
• Use automated bots, scrapers, or similar tools to crawl, copy, or extract content from the Site without our prior written permission
• Introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Interfere with the security or proper functioning of the Site
• Resell or attempt to resell our products in bulk without our consent
• Use the Site in a way that infringes the rights of others or breaks any applicable law

All content on the Site — including the Snagz name, logo, product photography, copy, designs, and visual identity — is owned by Snagz or licensed to us, and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may view, share, and reference the Site for personal and non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, copy, modify, distribute, or commercially exploit any part of the Site, its content, or our brand assets without our prior written permission.

If you tag us on social media, leave a review, or send us photos and feedback, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce, and display that content for marketing and promotional purposes, with attribution where reasonable.

You confirm you own the rights to any content you share with us, that it doesn't infringe anyone else's rights, and that it complies with applicable laws. We reserve the right to remove or refuse content for any reason.

If you leave a product review, you confirm it reflects your genuine experience and is your own work. We don't edit reviews to change the substance of opinions, but we reserve the right to refuse or remove reviews that contain offensive language, personal details, irrelevant content, or that we reasonably believe to be fake.

The Site and its content are provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer in respect of the products you buy from us.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

We won't be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to: courier strikes, postal disruption, natural disasters, fire, flood, pandemic, war, terrorism, server outages, or government action.

The Site may contain links to external websites operated by third parties (social media, partners, blogs, etc.). We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, privacy practices, or how they handle your data. Visiting them is at your own discretion.

How we handle your personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective" date at the foot shows when they were last revised. For material changes, we'll post a notice on the Site or contact you directly if you have an active account. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the new Terms.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the rest of the Terms will continue in full force. The invalid provision will be replaced with one that most closely matches the original intent and is enforceable.

Failure or delay on our part to enforce any right under these Terms doesn't mean we've waived that right.

These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, subject to your statutory rights as a UK or EU consumer to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
